General Demolition stripped out the internals of a former mobile telecommunications service, repair and test centre based at the Yorktown Industrial Estate in Camberley, Surrey.

The £150,000 contract included the stripping out and removal of mechanical and electrical systems - comprising lighting, cables, cable trays, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems - studwork partitions, mezzanine floor, exterior ventilation plant and chiller unit. General Demolition was also responsible for the demolition of concrete air pressure chambers, and the haulage and removal of demolition waste.

The centre, originally owned by Nokia UK, had remained unoccupied since the end of 2002. The building is being renovated by Connect Engineering Solutions, a specialist mechanical and electrical services company.
