Constructionline - the UK's register of pre-qualified local and national construction and construction-related contractors and consultants. Owned and endorsed by the Department for Business, Enterprise & Regulatory Reform, Constructionline is a contributor to the Rethinking Construction initiative.
Constructionline gathers and assesses pre-qualification information on behalf of public and private sector procurers and provides them with access to over 14,000 fully accredited suppliers free of charge. In addition, it also help contractors and consultants by reducing the need for them to fill-in pre-qualification forms for every tender and provide them with access to over 1,700 buyers. |

Contractors Health and Safety (CHAS) Assessment Scheme - a national database of contractors who have been through a Health and Safety assessment and have demonstrated adequate compliance and management standards.
An assessment of General Demolition’s standards of health and safety compliance has led to accreditation with the Contractors Health and Safety (CHAS) Assessment Scheme. The scheme is available for use by any public and private sector organisations when short-listing contractors and suppliers and works on the logic that a company who has successfully achieved compliance with one organisation is acceptable to all. |

The Institute of Demolition Engineers (IDE) - a charitable Educational Trust established to foster the science of demolition engineering, to promote the use of more efficient techniques in the industry, to encourage safer methods of working and to provide a qualifying body for the industry.
General Demolition actively encourages its staff to seek professional qualifications. Contracts Directors Ian Turner and James MacDonald are both full members of the IDE. |
