During the Summer, our accounts assistant, Bex Evans completed the Mighty Hike for Macmillan.
The challenging hike was along the Jurassic Coast – one of England’s first natural World Heritage Sites. The walk started in Weymouth, Dorset along the famous South West Coast path and past the natural stone arch of Durdle Door and the famous bay at Lulworth Cove ending at Corfe Castle. With steep climbs, it was a demanding hike which tested stamina. Over 600 people took part in the event.
Bex and her team took 11,5 hours to complete the hike and raised an impressive £2500 with an overall target of £290,000 – a huge achievement for a worthy charity.
