Our park recycles around 93% of all the waste materials received at the facility. By reclaiming materials such as hard core, crushed concrete, brick hardcore and screened top soil, our operation saves at least 25,000 truck journeys per year (at an average of 18 tonnes per truck) to landfill sites with a corresponding reduction in vehicle emissions and wear and tear on road surfaces. |

General Demolition was awarded a £125,000 grant from the Government-funded Waste & Resources Action Programme (WRAP) towards plant to produce recycled aggregates from construction, demolition and excavation waste. We were the first demolition contractor to be awarded funding under this major resource efficiency scheme. |
