The start of a new year always brings with it a sense of new beginning. We take this time to review our previous 12 months and to make plans on how we can all work towards improving the company.
At General Demolition we pride ourselves on our commitment to safety, the environment and the communities we work within. As registered members of the Considerate Construction Scheme all our projects undergo an independent review to assess five main areas: Appearance, Community, Environment, Safety and Workforce.
Reviewing our 2017 project assessments, we are pleased to see a shift from very good to excellent as the year progressed.
Apex House, London
June 2017 – score: 38/50
“An overall excellent (environmental) performance is observed at the site, observations of the demolition process demonstrated how far the industry has developed, suppression equipment and modern plant creates little impact on the surrounding community”
Worple Road, Wimbledon
July 2017 – Score: 38/50
“The site is presented to an excellent standard… excellent welfare facilities were provided, and they were clean and tidy”
Whitechapel High Street, London
October 2017 score: 40/50
“The overriding impression is of an excellent team effort by all involved in the project, with very high standards being set in all areas covered by the CCS code of practice.”
