General Demolition is sponsoring the ‘Sustainability Award’ at the Huntingdon Area Board of Young Enterprise Company Programme Area Finals 2007/8 to be held at the Huntingdon Marriott Hotel on 17 April 2008.

GOALden performance at charity 5-a-side

General Demolition’s “All Stars” football team was one of 20 teams that participated in a charity 5-a-side football tournament held recently at the GOALS Soccer Centre at New Malden, Surrey, organised by contractor Wates.

“We performed brilliantly to remain unbeaten in our four group matches, but finally lost out at the semi-final stage,” said team captain Nick Blackman. “Gary ‘The Cat’ Turner was superb in goal, performing heroics throughout the tournament!” added Nick.

Proceeds from the event, which was co-sponsored by General Demolition, were donated to Cancer Research UK, the UK’s leading cancer charity.
