General Demolition was appointed by Gardiner & Theobald to de-rate Bowater House in Knightsbridge, West London.
 
Over a 10-week period, General Demolition stripped internals from the (12-storey) East and (15-storey) West blocks as well as two link buildings. The scope of work included removal of all floor coverings and temporary ceilings, non-load bearing partitions, all mechanical and electrical systems and the disconnection and removal of utilities.

Property developer Candy & Candy acquired Bowater House in March 2005 and plans to build around 140 luxury penthouse flats on the site.
